Engine installed, what’s next?

I FINALLY got the engine installed in the truck. It had been on hold since just before the wedding (November), since I’m a lazy bum, who is a freeze-baby! Anyways, I welded in the motor mounts on Monday (had the day off to do taxes), and then tonite, I lifted the cab off the frame for the first time. How dumb have I been! I was dreading doing that, and turns out, it took all of about five minutes, and was a sinch! Doh! Anyways, I moved the cab, to make room to do work on my transmission crossmember and brakes and clutch setups, and cleaned up a bunch of miscellaneous junk (battery box, running board mounts, etc). Here are some photos:

Como Zoo

Filed under: Family — ben @ 10:52 am

Jessie, Michelle and I went to Como Zoo yesterday, in St. Paul, MN. They have a ton of cool animals, a baby Zebra and Giraffe, and a beautiful conservatory. We had a great time… it’s always fun being in 90 degree 80% humidity when it’s only 15 degrees outside! Here are some photos:
